“My work is very painterly and expressive applying oil to canvas thick and fast, creating allusions of texture and movement. I paint the world as I see it and more often than not as I think it should be. I paint because I want to ask questions, to provoke reactions, to spark discussion or even debate and to test boundaries. The main themes of my work include natural forms, the human figure, relationships, the erotic and the ridiculous. Examining the nature of attraction and repulsion”
